You can benefit from Dynamic SPF by:

  1. Never exceeding the SPF lookup limit which in turn will increase your deliverability.

  2. Being able to manage your SPF record within our OnDMARC platform and in turn save you time from logging into your DNS to make the changes.

  3. Preventing you from making any mistakes in terms of adding wrong includes or other mechanisms to Dynamic SPF. We have validation in place to make sure that any mechanisms that you are authorizing are syntactically correct.

  4. Being able to authorize your legitimate email sending services with a single click.

Our Dynamic SPF:

  1. We take your records and flatten them into IP addresses

  2. We are truly dynamic and perform real lookups on the providers’ includes honouring their published TTL

  3. Our infrastructure is hosted by Google and backed by an Anycast network for maximum resilience.

  4. Our Dynamic SPF is integrated with OnDMARC and you can configure SPF for new sources with a single click

The server making the DNS query will keep requesting records from us until they find the sender IP or we run out of the list of SPF entries you have configured. These requests are paged so the amount of data transferred in a single request is typically under 1 network MTU (around 1000 bytes).

Dynamic SPF automatically ensures every record for all 3rd party services is up to date at point of query, there's no static code to become outdated or obsolete. This has significant advantages over the static flattening that is the common technique out there.

The SPF lookup limit is overcome because we serve all your SPF entries within the allowed limit of 10. We use smart compaction algorithms to condense the list of SPF source IPs and prioritise the order of the entries.
