OnDMARC’s improved Control Panel provides you with a single pane of glass view of your domain estate, making its management simpler and more intuitive. It also provides you with easily consumed insights and recommended actions to take to improve the security of each of your domains.

The Control Panel is composed of three main sections.

1) Managed Domains

On the left of the screen, you will see the Managed Domains table with a list of domains that you have added to OnDMARC. The table gives you an overview of your domain estate and the various factors contributing to its health, such as:

  • DMARC - shows the DMARC record status

  • SPF - shows the SPF record status

  • BIMI - shows the chosen logo if domain is configured for BIMI

  • Domain - the domain in question

  • Tags - shows tags associated with the domain (e.g. by priority)

  • Actions - aggregates all actions required

By clicking on the vertical ellipsis, you can view the domain's report or view how many assets the domain has and manage them in Email Sources.

2) Selected Domain Details

On the right of the screen, you will find several key pieces of information regarding your selected domain. This section is split into Domain Actions, Domain Status, and Domain Implementations.

When you select a domain from your list of Managed Domains, OnDMARC will highlight any outstanding actions you need to take as well as the Domain's status.

Domain Actions

If there are any configuration, classifications, and subdomain actions on your domain that require your attention, they will be highlighted here.

Configurations - OnDMARC will provide insight into any configuration actions that are outstanding for your selection domain, for example, setting up SPF or DKIM.

Classifications - This tab will display a list of your email senders and allow you to mark them as a threat or an asset or view a report for each.

Subdomains - If subdomain(s) are detected, required actions will be highlighted here.

Domain Status

The Domain Status displays your domain policy and the policy percentage.

Domain Implementations

The Domain Implementations badges will guide you through the steps required in order to take full advantage of all the features OnDMARC has to offer.

  1. The Reporting badge will tell you if you're in DMARC reporting mode. If you are not yet reporting, it provides setup instructions for you to get started.

  2. The Dynamic DMARC badge will tell you if you have Dynamic DMARC set up, a feature that enables you to manage your records directly within OnDMARC without having to go into your DNS.

  3. The BIMI badge will tell you if you have BIMI set up. If you are not yet BIMI enabled, it will help you get started so you can put your logo on every email you send to boost brand recognition and protect against phishing.

3) Show Details

This breaks down the separate configuration for each component separately (DMARC, SPF, BIMI, and MX) for the selected Domain.

See the example below for "mydomain.com".

4) OnDOMAIN Lookalike Detection

Underneath the domain details table, you will see a preview of any lookalikes OnDOMAIN has identified for the domain in question. OnDOMAIN is the third application on the Red Sift platform that performs millions of daily scans on domain registrations and activity to identify domains that look similar to yours. This information can be used to identify potential phishing sites, brand infringement, or other malicious activity.

The preview shown in OnDMARC will show any detected lookalikes OnDOMAIN has found based on your domains in OnDMARC.
