Setting up Dynamic DMARC using CNAMES

  1. Log in to your Network Solutions account.

  2. Click Manage Account.

  3. Click Edit DNS under My Domain Names.

  4. Select Edit Advanced DNS Records next to the domain you want to set Dynamic DMARC up for.

  5. Navigate to Edit CNAME Records in the Host Aliases (CNAME Records) section (you might have to scroll down).

  6. Fill in the fields with the following values:

    • Enter the following as the Alias: _dmarc

    • TTL can be left as-is or set to a default of 7200.

    • Tick the Other Host button.

    • Enter the following in the Other Host field: _dmarc.exampledomain.com._dmarc.smart.ondmarc.com ***MAKE SURE TO REPLACE exampledomain.com WITHIN THE EXAMPLE ABOVE WITH YOUR OWN CUSTOM DOMAIN***

  1. Click Continue and Save Changes.
